Jills mother came to me less than a year ago looking for a photographer to cover her daughters wedding day. When I went to meet up with her and the family, I walked into a house of smiles and welcomes. Before I even sat down, I was offered coffee, wine and food. A+ in my book from the get go.
Upon meeting with Jill & Jim for their engagement session, we followed up with some nachos and a few pints by the ocean and after a lot of laughter and the realization that I had a TON in common with them, they became friends to me.
That said, the simplistic nature of things with the 2 of them made for an ideal wedding day from start to finish. I was emotionally invested at this point having become friends with the pair so I had a great deal of fun with their families & guests.
At the end of the day, and tired as could be, I drove home after a quick stop for iced coffee with the windows down and some bluegrass on the radio.
I know I tend to repeat myself at times when I write of couples so I am keeping this one short. Jill & Jim were a blast to work with and their pictures perfectly portray their love for one another as well as the strong bond they have with their families. Im grateful for having been able to work with them and am pretty happy about the laughs yet to be had with this dynamic duo.
