Anna & Mike | Temple Beth Elohim Wedding | Wellesley MA Wedding Photographer

From the moment I met Anna & Mike, I fell head over heels for them. They are simply wonderful people and come from wonderful families with a seriously awesome group of close friends. The way in which they balance one another is poetic in countless ways. The way Mike looks at Anna is a testament to the amount of love and happiness he has in their relationship. Their wedding day was a complete blast and left me with perma-grin for days to follow. I felt as though I was amongst family the moment I arrived at their hotel. The vendor team was top notch and the food was to DIE for. When I followed up with Anna after the wedding day, it was as though I was speaking to an old friend. She told me a short story about how upon feeling some post wedding blues recently, Mike ran out and printed over 200 4x6 prints to create a small album for her to re-ignite the wedding buzz in the room again. He is everything a husband should strive to be and a super solid guy. Even though the day has passed, I am beyond stoked to have made a couple of life long friends.

In an effort to get people to look
into each other’s eyes more,
and also to appease the mutes,
the government has decided
to allot each person exactly one hundred
and sixty-seven words, per day.
When the phone rings, I put it to my ear
without saying hello. In the restaurant
I point at chicken noodle soup.
I am adjusting well to the new way.
Late at night, I call my long distance lover,
proudly say I only used fifty-nine today.
I saved the rest for you.
When she doesn’t respond,
I know she’s used up all her words,
so I slowly whisper I love you
thirty-two and a third times.
After that, we just sit on the line
and listen to each other breathe.
