My name is Paul Robert Berman and I am a Wedding Photographer / Photojournalist. My life revolves around my wife Bridget & 3 children- Noelle, Elliot & Magnolia. My love for them is what fuels my passion for documenting the love stories of others. I reside in Rhode Island and adore this little state with all my heart. Traveling the Northeast for Weddings is a treat. When I'm not out shooting weddings, you'll find me spending time with my family, sitting somewhere with a good cup of coffee or taking photos of the world around me. Life moves fast. I enjoy taking my time soaking in the moments as they pass me by.

I have been a visual storyteller for over 30 years, dating back to being in the darkroom of my mother's newspaper gig when I was 11 years old. She gave me an old Pentax camera when I turned 13 and as soon as I loaded some 35mm film into it, I haven't put a camera down since. As I grew older, I began focusing on narrative storytelling through images. Then I shot my first wedding. I was hooked from the first shutter click.


My career has now spanned 15 years with over 1000 weddings documented. I have been published numerous times and have had the honor of photographing the most amazing couples one could hope for in the most beautiful venues across The Northeast My work is focused heavily on raw moments while creating images that are intimate, moody toned and unique to the people I am working with. Your wedding day is not another gig for me. It is a time for you to be seen, celebrated and documented in a way that reflects who you are as a couple and individuals.
